Kpaytuo Health Center 2006This health Center was established in 1982 with help of a Swedish
surgeon who was then working for Lamco. During the 14 year civil
war the center was damaged and plundered of the equipment.It was
restablished in 2006 with medical equipment and supplies from Örebro.
The Swedish UN contingent helped with the transport of container
from Monrovia to Kpaytuo about 80 Swedish miles away from the seaport.
